Last night I slept at 2:30, trying hard since 11:30, with so many thoughts in mind regarding my admissions, career options, personal life, friends..etc..etc..
And what happens in morning?? 8 O'clock, a friend's call wakes me up telling me that it's almost deadline of filling forms of bla..blaa colleges. I had put alarm on my cell phone for 8:30 with a beautiful song of Lata ji, "O palan hare", so that atleast i would have a peaceful morning. But after that call, the thoughts of how much time it would take in bank for DD, in post office and in reaching the form to desired location, I could not sleep. At last i switched off my alarm at 8:25, before it could soothe my ears and mind. The whole day went with those forms only. And in the evening different thoughts caught me again, resulting in one more battle between sleep and thoughts.
This is the daily schedule of each of us in this fast running life of today. Whole day we are running the human race, to stand equally and if possible, above our fellow beings. And the evenings and nights goes in the tensions and plannings of the future. Everyone wants to earn more and more money, to live a better life. But my question is, what is the use of money when you don't have time to spend on yourself?? Actually the tensions of my life are what should I do to land into what I really want and what really interest me, not what will give the biggest bunch of notes.
I believe in, and am waiting for a "fairy tale life". Where we can take a break from this fast moving life. Where all we need to do is smile and play and where humanity still exists. A life where we take time out for others and their smiles and these others don't just include family. A place without pollution and global warming, beautiful with green trees and blue clouds.
I don't think it is that difficult. This world of ours can be a fairy tale land and each one of us can live a fairy tale life. All we need is a true effort from heart, without being so much selfish....

ReplyDeleteBut alas.. dats d bitter truth of life...
Thumbs Up.. frm my side..

Huh,so true.I completely agree wid ur thought.Today a race named rat race has become a craze for the modern man.Everyone wants to be a part of dis race. But den mere being a part of this race doesn't satisfy his needs. He also wants to win this race. And for that he can go to any extent.
ReplyDeleteMy point here is dat why does everyone has to look upto others for deciding there path of life. Why can't we decide our own path.why can't we be content with ourselves.what is the ultimate position or rank where we want to reach.Evn if we reach our goals even then we r not content. We want more and more.In all dis obsession with dis race, we actually forget the basic essence of life.
So wat i just want to convey is dat, frnds life is a precious commodity, which god chose to gave it to us.So in dat respect we r very lucky to get it.So we have no right to waste it.so live like there is no other moment left for u.Watever u do u must enjoy, otherwise its just a wastage of life.
:) u r gud at it babes.. go head strong..
